We hold meetings on the third Wednesday of every month in the evening in the greater Cleveland/Akron area.
A pizza social gathering starts at 6pm and the presentations begining at 6:30pm. Food and drink is provided by our sponsors.

We invite you to join us as we have some great presentations and content planned. Presentation topics this month will include the following:
- Securing Your Host with OSSEC by Steve McMaster: How to secure our systems using a free and open source Host-based Intrustion Detection and Prevention System. Watch your logs, see your problems, alert the administrator and take action.
- Tool Time – KeePass by Matt Neely: KeePass is a multi-platform password vault. Matt will be reviewing the features and usability of KeePass across various platforms.
- Malware Analysis: the Forgotten Forensics Skill By Tyler Hudak and Greg Feezel: Malware analysis is increasingly becoming a skill forensic investigators and incident responders need to possess, however, many organizations do not realize how important this skill is to have. This presentation will cover why this skill is needed; the value to the department, agency, busines; and how it can be learned. We will show case studies which can be used to help justify the need to learn malware analysis. This presentation is geared toward the technical people doing the work as well as the people who fund their work – such as their managers.
